A hypnotic candlelit story of anticipated loss, built from vocal loops and symbology. The golden wattle (acacia) bloom marks the coming of spring in Southern Australia, and lyrically backdrops this vastly contrasting song- “The dark is the darkest just before the first light hits home”.

With a voice that deviates from demanding presence to ethereally haunting sojourns to the stars, Melody brings a powerful arrangement crossing genres from folk to catchy Bjork-esque choruses. Evocative as it is enchanting, the guitar driven song will have you up dancing as her produced beats kick in.
